The new replacement remote replaces the older discontinued Overhead Door® garage door opener remotes that use a fixed code of 12 binary switches. Matching the switches in the remote to another working remote will set your code. When you do not have a working remote match the switches to your receiver on the motor unit hanging in the garage.
This remote includes a battery, keyring and programming instructions.

1. Locate the 12-switch opener receiver it should be under the lens cover next to the light bulb.
2. Match the 12-digit code switches in the remote and the receiver using a pen to move the switches up or down.
3. Additional remotes to the same opener are set by matching the code to a working remote.
4. Replace the remote access panel to test the operation.
Now press the remote button, the door should open or close at this time.
